  33. WSYIWYG is pronounced "wizzy-wig," so what is WYDIWYP? Weddy-wip? Sounds like Elmer Fudd's Cool Whip‚Ñ¢ in a can to me.

At any rate, Gary refers to our "colophon" section of the website in which Cherry Coke is listed as the only non-software/hardware item used in the official production of Apple Wizards. It is true that Erica and I greatly enjoy the proverbial sipping of the forbidden nectar (i.e. Cherry Coke ‚Äî what were YOU thinking?), so we felt it natural to include its name right up there with Photoshop 4.01 and BBEdit 4.5.1a.

  37. We here at Apple Wizards are stodgy old jerks, so we'll never change our favorite beverage. Coke is dying, you say?! Ha, it's the superior beverage, and I am going to use it, right along with my Amiga.

  39. Okay, I'll stop being satirical now...but doesn't Mountain Dew decrease a certain reproductive aspect in males? Wouldn't it be better if I populate the earth with children that have the MAC codon on the 69th gene of their 1q21-23 chromosome?

  48. Many people, in response to the question "What I like least about Apple Wizards" on the  contest form last month, wrote something similar to: Reader's column (i.e., this column).

  53. In our efforts to produce THE most interesting magazine, we have decided to eliminate this column, Readers Write, as of next month. We will still field and answer reader comments at letters@applewizards.net, but we won't have a column anymore.

  55. One of the new columns we've devised is called Macintalk. Macintalk is to be a monthly interview with someone involved in the Mac community. This month, we have an interview with Ted Landau. Check it out further back in this issue.

We're also thinking of other ways to improve Apple Wizards. The Contest Survey last month helped, and we'll be posting the results either on the website or in the issue as soon as they're compiled. Many people had useful comments that will help us shape Apple Wizards to the needs of our readers. Until then,  if you have comments, questions, or suggestions, send them to the email address listed above, and thanks for all of your help :-)
